About the webinar
What the webinar covers
A two-day ModelRisk training course for professionals who want to use advanced risk modelling techniques. Over two sessions you gain hands-on experience with ModelRisk, a tool for quantitative risk analysis.
The first session introduces the fundamentals of Quantitative Risk Analysis (QRA) and the ModelRisk interface. You learn how to bring uncertainty into your models, create a risk register and run your first model, using a simple cost budgeting model.
The second session goes deeper: interpreting results in the Results Viewer, sensitivity analysis and “what-if” scenarios. You also configure the simulation and generate customised reports in Excel. By the end of the course you can apply ModelRisk to analyse and mitigate risks and communicate your findings.
Prerequisites
No advance preparation is required. You need your own computer with a trial or full version of ModelRisk installed, a reliable internet connection and ideally two monitors (one for the presentation, one to follow the exercises in the models). This is hands-on training and needs your full attention.
Certification
Attendees are certified as a ‘ModelRisk Fundamentals Practitioner’ on passing the multiple-choice examination at the close of the course with a score above 75%.
