Floating network license

A floating network license (also known as a concurrent license) allows up to a specified number of computers to use ModelRisk simultaneously. This can be an efficient way of giving access to a large corporate group where most people would use ModelRisk rarely.

Enterprise license

An enterprise license gives unrestricted access to ModelRisk for all users on the organisation's network. Available for seats in excess of 100. Contact sales@vosesoftware.com, fill out our online contact form or call one of our offices for details and pricing.

Perpetual license

The perpetual license never expires, can be installed on a single computer and is intended for a single user. A maintenance contract is required for access to technical support, bug fixes and upgrades. The first year of maintenance is included with the initial license fee.

Subscription license

The subscription license expires after one year. The license includes access to technical support, bug fixes and upgrades.

Trial license

The trial license is fully functional for 30 days and includes access to bug fixes and upgrades during these 30 days. Trial licenses are available for download from this location.

Insurance and Finance module

Use: the Insurance and Finance module should be used with a professional, developer or academic version of Modelrisk, since modules can not be used stand-alone. ModelRisk modules offer extra functionality specific to one industry or application field.

Maintenance: The maintenance plan includes access to technical support, bug fixes and upgrades.

Maintenance

This gives you access to any bug fixes (designated as a third or fourth digit change e.g. 3.0.0.0 to 3.0.0.1 or 3.0.1.0), small updates (which include some new features, designated as a second digit change e.g. 3.0 to 3.1), technical support for installation and software bugs or reliability issues, and gives eligibility for discounts on major upgrades (first digit change e.g. 3.0 to 4.0) of typically 40%. To be eligible for upgrade discounts the user must have held a contiguous maintenance policy. To get updates or upgrades the user must have either a current maintenance plan, must 'catch-up' the maintenance plan by paying for any elapsed time, or buy a new software license.

Maintenance is free for the first year and costs 18% of the current full license fee each year thereafter.

Maintenance does not include advice on model building or risk analysis.
