What is a faculty license?

A faculty license is a one year or perpetual ModelRisk 3.0 license at a large discount including maintenance for the first year. User must be a profesor in a recognized academic institute.

How to order

• For verification, a letter of Confirmation of Full-time Status and order form should be filled in, signed and sent by email to academic@vosesoftware.com
• After verification and payment we will send you the license ID and password

Annual maintenance for perpetual license

This gives you access to any bug fixes (designated as a third digit change e.g. 3.0 to 3.0.1), small updates (which include some new features, designated as a second digit change e.g. 3.0 to 3.1), technical support for installation and software bugs or reliability issues, and gives eligibility for discounts on major upgrades (first digit change e.g. 3.0 to 4.0) of typically 40%. To be eligible for upgrade discounts the user must have held a contiguous maintenance policy. To get updates or upgrades the user must have either a current maintenance plan, must 'catch-up' the maintenance plan, or buy a new software license.

Maintenance is free for the first year and costs 18% of the current applicable license fee each year thereafter. Maintenance does not include advice on model building, auditing or risk analysis, but Vose Software or Vose Consulting can provide these on a consultancy basis.
