License options

Perpetual licenses have no time limit. Vose Software only offers licenses that have a fixed duration, in line with common industry practice.

If you want to keep using the product, simply purchase another license.

If you have purchased a single user license, you can install it on only one machine.

Maintenance

This page describes what are, and are not, covered by maintenance.

Maintenance is included within the price for the duration of the software license.

ModelRisk

System requirements are shown here.

To make proper use of ModelRisk, you should be a competent risk modeller or receive some training.

The student version is based on the Complete Edition of ModelRisk, so it provides a complete set of features. The student version of ModelRisk has no constraints on model size, simulation speed, etc. However, the graphs displaying the results have a watermark.

This happens when the ModelRisk COM add-in is not activated. You can activate the add-in in Excel through File | Options | Add-ins.

ModelRisk does not run on Mac OS or Parallels, but can be run on a Mac using Boot Camp

All editions of ModelRisk include a conversion tool for models written in @RISK or Crystal Ball. The tool will not change your model. Instead it makes a copy of your model using ModelRisk functions.
