Vose Risk Consulting is specialized in probabilistic modelling of risk. We provide a specialist service to produce the most appropriate and robust quantitative risk analysis models possible. Our modelling services are completely independent of our own software – we will happily use competing products if the client wishes, and have extensive knowledge of non-competing specialist tools like OpenBUGS.

In a risk modelling engagement, the client usually provides the data and problem logic, which is by far the greatest part of the work, and we construct the model around this logic and data, ensuring that both are appropriate to the problem. This approach is a very efficient use of consultancy time and allows the client to both maintain control of the assessment and improve their modelling skills in the process. Modeling work is frequently carried out over the Internet to minimize travelling time and expenses.
