Auditing

We offer auditing of risk assessment practices and models. We provide an independent auditing service to review a client's current or planned risk assessment process. We also critique risk analysis models and reports, which is particularly useful to clients who need to understand any weakness in their approach, for example when a report may be going out to public review or to a potentially hostile audience, or when decisions being made on the risk assessment are of critical importance.

Many clients have found it very useful to have their planned modeling approach reviewed prior to committing resources to its execution. We can help a client through a risk assessment by: advising on the most practical approach to the problem, given the availability of resources and data and the goals of the exercise; reviewing the model at the planning stage and at completion, and reviewing the subsequent report for the information it provides, its accuracy and its clarity. This leaves the client in complete control of the process, whilst building up further risk assessment experience, but ensures that any effort is expended efficiently and with the minimum of delay.
