License options

Perpetual licenses have no time limit. Vose Software only offers licenses that have a fixed duration, in line with common industry practice.
If you want to keep using the product, simply purchase another license.
If you have purchased a single user license, you can install it on only one machine.

If you believe you have discovered a bug in one of our software products, please send a detailed email describing the problem to support@vosesoftware.com. Details should include:

  • The name and version of the product you are using;
  • The operating system you are using, and language;
  • The version of Excel you use (if the bug relates to ModelRisk or ModelRisk Cloud), or MS Project or Primavera (if you are using Tamara);
  • Screen caps if possible showing strange behavior or error messages;
  • A description of what exactly happens and when, especially if the problem is repeatable; and
  • Copies of the model (be sure to remove any confidential information) if the bug appears to be model-specific.

ModelRisk

System requirements are shown here.
ModelRisk comes in three editions: Standard, Professional and Industrial. The Standard edition requires very little expertise in risk analysis, and reviewing some of the training videosa> should get you started. To make proper use of the Professional Edition, you should be a competent risk modeler or receive some training. The Industrial Edition is best suited for risk analysts with considerable experience.

The trial version is based on the Industrial Edition of ModelRisk, so it provides all the features you will find in the Standard, Professional and Industrial editions. Refer to this page for an overview of what each edition offers, or consult the help file for which editions contain a specific function or interface.

The trial version of ModelRisk has no constraints on model size, simulation speed, etc. However, the trial version has a delay built in that will require you to wait a few seconds before a simulation starts, and the graphs displaying the results have a watermark.
The student version is based on the Industrial Edition of ModelRisk, so it provides a complete set of features. The student version of ModelRisk has no constraints on model size, simulation speed, etc. However, the graphs displaying the results have a watermark.

This happens when the ModelRisk COM add-in is not activated. You can activate the add-in in Excel through File | Options | Add-ins.

ModelRisk is PC-based. It will only work on a Mac if you install a PC-emulator.
All editions of ModelRisk include a conversion tool for models written in @RISK or Crystal Ball. The tool will not change your model. Instead it makes a copy of your model using ModelRisk functions.

Tamara
