ModelTree Features

Easy and Intuitive

ModelTree works seamlessly with Excel. Therefore ModelTree is easy to use and intuitive, yet powerful:

  • Get up and running in minutes.
  • No messy, complicated dialog boxes the competition uses.

Splitting and Linking Trees

  • Up to 100 nodes per tree
  • "Link" trees together using simple Excel formula
  • Allows for a decision analysis with unlimited number of nodes
  • Easily break down complex trees into smaller, more manageable sub-trees

Highlighting Paths

  • Highlight the Optimal Path (the best decision choice)
  • Highlight the Best Path (the best possible scenario)
  • Minimize Function Available - to find minimal cost, expense, etc.

Editing Branches

  • Cut, Copy, and Paste branches
    • On the same tree
    • To other trees in the same workbook
  • Collapse and Expand Branches

Automated reports

Easily create reports with a few mouse clicks. Default reports include:
  • Cumulative Probability Chart
  • Risk Profile Chart
  • Optimal Path - create a copy of the optimal path on a separate sheet

Tree Navigation

  • Node Indexing - number each node if desired
  • Shortcut Keys - use shortcut keys to do almost everything related to a decision tree
  • Tree Navigation - easily navigate around the tree with ribbon or shortcut keys

Tree Settings

Two diagram formats are available:
  • Standard balanced tree
  • Fixed root node

Error Handling
