New in ModelRisk 4.0

Standard edition is free

ModelRisk Standard is a simple-to-use Monte Carlo add-in for Excel. It offers over 40 distributions and numerous ways to correlate your distributions using copulas. An ideal tool for people who need to build simple Monte Carlo models, but want a professional quality, reliable software application to do it with. ModelRisk Standard has no expiration date, and if you are curious about how the extra features in ModelRisk Professional or Industrial versions can help you, you can start a 15 day trial with one button click. When the trial is over, ModelRisk will revert to its Standard Version.

Better graphical reports

The ability to customize the graphical reports from simulation results have been greatly improved for all editions of ModelRisk and the free Results Viewer tool.

Report settings stored in your workbook

Once you have created the perfect format for your graphical reports, ModelRisk will automatically store the settings in your workbook. When you next run the model, the graphs will appear with the same formatting.

Ordinary Differential Equation Tool

ModelRisk Industrial now incorporates a very powerful and flexible tool for modeling systems of ordinary differential equations.

Improved optimization

The OptQuest optimizer now incorporates the ability to specify constraints on your decision variables as formulae, for example that A + 2*B-C > 100, where A, B, and C are decision variables. We have also increased its optimization speed significantly.

Six Sigma support

ModelRisk Industrial now includes a variety of functions to help you perform Six Sigma analyses of your simulation results.

Help file

The ModelRisk help file is now even more comprehensive, and has been redesigned for easier access to the topics that interest you.

An extensive help file has been added for users wanting to build models with VBA calls to ModelRisk.

Vose Software account

A new companion application to ModelRisk gives you access to the latest information on our software updates, lectures and training courses, as well as offering example models and white papers. Use the Tell a Friend tool and you will build up big discounts on our training courses and software products. You can also update your profile at any time so you will only be offered material that is of specific interest to you.
