Academic and Educational Programs
At Vose Software we are very passionate about the dissemination of quality risk analysis and risk modeling practices, techniques and tools in industry and science. In pursuit of that goal, we provide the following academic and educational programs:
- We teach and have taught risk analysis related courses and guest lectures at a great number of universities in the United States and abroad, including Harvard University, University of Pennsylvania, University of Edinburgh, University of Glasgow, Colorado State University, University of Colorado and many more (see here).
- We now offer ModelAssist for Crystal Ball and ModelAssist for @Risk for FREE to anyone interested in learning risk analysis or improving their quantitative modeling skills. ModelAssist is a large electronic risk analysis training and reference database including techniques, ideas and examples with hyperlinked topics, search features, over 100 example models, as well as videos and quizzes. So, if you want to know more about risk analysis (even if you don’t use Crystal Ball or @RISK), take advantage of this free offer and tell your colleagues!
We provide FREE faculty licenses and greatly discounted student licenses of ModelRisk for Insurance and Finance. You can read more about this at in our website.
In addition, the following paper (Quick Start Guide for Lecturers) provides useful and practical ideas for lecturers on how to teach risk analysis techniques and methods and how to use ModelRisk for Insurance and Finance in a class room setting.
